The Path to
Joy...Sharing Our Faith
Womens' Retreat Weekend
It doesn't matter if
you feel confident or terrified when it comes to sharing
your faith; this retreat weekend is for everyone! Judy shares great information including many of her thought-provoking and humorous witnessing encounters
throughout this fresh, fun, exciting, and
thoroughly unique retreat weekend.
The Goal
1) To remember that it is God's will
and desire to use each believer to reach others with the love of the Lord Jesus Christ and
His Gospel as He blesses our socks off in the process!
2) To recognize and seize the many joyous opportunities to share
your faith with others.
3) To realize the importance of becoming equipped with reasons
for your faith, whether it's to help others overcome obstacles to
conversion or to become better grounded for your own spiritual
growth.
Talk #1 -- The Calling
This is a witty, heartwarming, encouraging, and revealing talk
designed to show eager yet apprehensive believers that God uses
anyone He wishes, in spite of their age, background, status,
education, or fears. During this talk, Judy also
shares her powerful and encouraging testimony.
Talk #2 --
The Basics
1) How to overcome fear and shyness.
2) How to recognize and make the most of the divine appointments
God places before us.
3) How to be "all things to all people" without compromise.
Talk #3 -- The
Particulars
1) How to reach
people and not repel them.
2) How to remove misconceptions in the perception of what some
believe of Christianity.
3) Judy role plays a bit with the audience (which is always fun
and informative) then conducts an open question-and-answer session.
Talk #4 --
The Progression
Judy shares insights from Psalm 51:10-13 on the natural
progression of having a clean heart before the Lord, remaining in His presence filled with His Spirit,
expressing the joy of our salvation, and possessing a willing spirit in
order to reach others for Christ's sake and glory.

comments from past participants of
The Path to Joy...Sharing Our Faith
Women's Retreat Weekend
"I just wanted to thank you for speaking at our women's retreat
last month. Your fun and enthusiastic talks challenged our
women (and myself) to reach out and engage people in spiritual
conversations...I especially loved the open forum on Saturday
night. It was helpful to hear how women stepped outside
their comfort zone (just that afternoon) and engaged in God's
divine appointments. It is now three weeks past the
retreat and women are still referring to their "divine
appointments" to share Christ in small and big ways. Press
on, Dear Sister. You are making a difference as you challenge us
to grow in our knowledge of the Word and to look for the
opportunities to share our faith and love for Jesus."
Shelly Smith, Women's
Ministry Director, Evergreen Christian
Fellowship
"Following most women's retreats, I walk away with a warm-fuzzy
feeling on the inside, along with gleaning a few things God has
whispered into my heart to encourage me along my journey.
But this time my emotions following the retreat were different
than any other retreat. Like NEVER before, Judy challenged
me to the depths of my soul to KNOW the reasons for my faith...I
have been eating up her book
Reasons for Faith,
underlining every other sentence it seems...and fervently
listening to FIVE of her CD's that I bought...Thank you, Judy,
for all that you are doing to build up the Kingdom of God and
for helping to equip us to serve Him in our own capacities!"
Sue Kitcha
"I evangelize right and left and it never occurred to me to
ask people what their beliefs are. Also, that question:
'How do you know?' I love it! I loved Judy's presentations
and her ideas. Thank you so much!"
Monica Paz
"I just loved Judy's talks. They were very
entertaining, very practical, and inspiring. I will
definitely be using some of her suggestions for talking with
unbelievers when I visit my family. She really helped me
to understand how to be respectful and yet bold in witnessing."
Linda Yee
"Judy's talks really encouraged me to keep my eyes open and
look for those "divine appointments" and to trust that God will
give me the words to say when that opportunity arrives."
Roxanne Martinez
"Judy's natural joy for the Lord and enthusiasm was the first
thing that I enjoyed. Then to hear about her past and to
see just how much Christ has done in her life! ~ Praise to Him!
To be reminded that God uses the weak so others know that the
strength is coming from HIM! As for the material, the thing that
mostly stuck out was 'not focusing on the unholy trinity of me,
myself, & I. ...I also enjoyed meeting her beautiful
daughter, Nicole, and to see their awesome relationship
together."
Marianne Verleye
"...Right away I loved her speaking style and the simplicity
of her message! Some speakers go overboard on content, and
I have come home overwhelmed and unable to retain what I
learned. I would say, that as a public speaker, she was
fantastic! While I always enjoy something about a retreat
speaker, overall, I enjoyed Judy Salisbury the most"
Janice Clark

"While I knew the information to be true, it was refreshing,
exciting, and ABOUT STINKIN' TIME! I love the milk of the Word,
but was overjoyed that you passed me a slice of meat.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you for the right
tools. It was so practical and easy to comprehend."
"God has clearly moved you to action and it shows. Just keep
going! We as women need more strong women to lead us out
of the fog of convention."
"Judy's presentations were clear, concise, and very much
needed. Scripture references were right on and pertinent."
"Thank you for bringing the Word of God and evangelism together
for me. Your presentations were well put together and
presented. I enjoyed your humor. 'WOW!' Your conclusion
made the whole weekend come together and deepened the purpose
and my desire to share Christ. God bless you!"
"What a testimony that first you showed us your gift in the
speaking and teaching Friday and Saturday. Then on Sunday,
speaking about The Calling, you shared your testimony of
how God used you in spite of yourself. I liked how you
shared yourself with us at mealtimes and other free times."
"Your talks were presented in such a way that it was not only
informative but also entertaining. You were such an
inspiration and moved me out of my 'comfort zone'. I'm
afraid it will be difficult for me to wear my shoes for a while
due to my sore toes...you had a way of stepping on them!
Thanks!"
"Your presentations were very easy to follow and easy to see
their application, (Now it's my responsibility to apply them.) I
really appreciated your easygoing manner and humor infused in
the message. You will be in my prayers that your ministry will
continue to reach many more of us. Thank you!"
